since snap benefits are being threatened i wanna share the single resource i can atm which is the woman behind Dollar Tree Dinners. for years now she has consistently provided filling, healthy recipes that really push the envelope on good meals from dollar tree ingredients. especially since next month will involve lots of family meals regardless if you celebrate the holiday, people should be pleased to know she puts together videos showing how to make a holiday meal on a budget.

I’m gonna be That Person and point out that dollar tree is, generally speaking, incredibly easy to shoplift from.

So, yknow. Don’t go fucking hungry in a land that produces this much food. Ok I love you

A woman reports that her ex is stalking and threatening her. The police say they can’t do anything.

But when rich people’s property is threatened by those who are desperate to survive, the police show up in large numbers.

The police don’t care about you. So stop caring about them.

The goal is to swell prison populations even more. They are forced labor facilities.

What percent of today’s cops would enforce chattel slavery if it were the law? I can say with much confidence that it’s all of them. And that’s because slavery currently exists, and all cops currently enforce it.

When chattel slavery existed, cops enforced it. Slaves tried to escape, and all cops kidnapped those slaves to return them to their captors. Then, when slavery was considered “ended”, it still remained legal as long as the slaves were classified as “criminals”.

So, what do we see now? Victimless actions like drug use are classified as crimes. Homeless people “loitering” is classified as a crime. Conditions are created so people commit crimes out of desperation. Then, those “criminals” can be legally used as slaves.

And all cops enforce that. Rich people want a society in which they own everything and everyone else is a slave to them. That’s what all cops enforced during chattel slavery, and that’s what all cops enforce now.

If you work somewhere where you absolutely are not allowed to let people protest, I want you to say this with me:

“I didn’t take photos because they weren’t hurting anybody”

“I didn’t take their license plate because they weren’t hurting anybody”

“I didn’t save footage, they weren’t breaking any laws”

“I didn’t file a report, because there was no crime”

“Sorry sir, our property line extends to (X SPECIFIC LOCATION) beyond which we have no legal say in the matter”

”I didn’t think it was a big deal”

“They weren’t causing a disturbance”

“I didn’t receive any complaints”

This has nothing to do with my personal orders at any particular location and is simply a series of things that I think you have the option of saying if strangers ask you to help them track down people they have no reason to be following
